Ocktcom Ltd achieves their 2nd “Sales Achievement Award” for sales of SDMO generators

Ocktcom were delighted to have been presented with another Award from world leading generator manufactors, SDMO Engery, in recognition of their sales of SDMO generators during 2011. The “Sales Achievement Award for 2011″ reflects the tremendous efforts that Ocktcom management and staff have put in over the year, achieving the highest number of diesel generator sales for SDMO, beating off stiff competition from other SDMO dealerships.

This is the second such award presented to Ocktcom, who are a recognised “Gold Dealership” for SDMO.

Managing Director, James Beck, accepted the award from SDMO Byfleet Managing Director, Nick Bradshaw and Project Sales Manager, Gavin Dawson. Ocktcom are particularly pleased to have received this award during the current world economic climate at a time when, like many other industries, the generator industry had experienced a general slowing down in the market.

Ocktcom Ltd have been operating for over 15 years under the dynamic leadership of James Beck. Based nr Stratford Upon Avon, Ocktcom not only serves the Warwickshire and West Midlands areas but all of the UK and worldwide.

As well as supplying SDMO generators, Ocktcom can offer the full package of building bespoke acoustic containers to house switchgear, UPS etc, fuel tanks and any steel frames, steps, fencing etc required to complete the installation.

SDMO Energy have now increased their range to include engines powered by Doosan and Kohler, as well as the established range of MTU, Volvo, John Deere and Mitsubishi. Ocktcom’s range of SDMO industrial diesel generators now includes Doosan powered generators from 300kVA to 700kVA. All Doosan diesel generators are available as open or sound proof canopy sets and are fitted, as standard, with Telys II control panel, electronic governing and Leroy Somer alternators. Founded in 1896, Doosan began making diesel engines in 1958 and since then has established itself as having a world class reputation within the plant industry.

Versatility, sturdiness and silence, all essential criteria for a range suited to the rental market and whose level of performance responds to usage conditions that are both specific and intensive.

Already at the forefront of the Rental Market, SDMO were exhibiting their new RENTAL COMPACT range of robust 16 to 700 kVA generating sets utilising Leroy Somer alternators with the latest John Deere, Mitsubishi or Volvo engines at the Executive Hire Show last month.

Incorporating a high level control panel, separated from the alternator, featuring all the necessary instrumentation for unrivalled control and management. Each generator is fitted with low level sockets, a hardwire facility and ‘easy on’ cable connection for a quick interchange of cables. Engine access has been improved and with whisper quiet sound levels and the long-run, fully bunded fuel tank these sets are ideally suited for providing clean power for commercial use during outside events and on construction sites, particularly in urban areas. Transportation and off-loading is made simple via the nylon lined, fork access pockets inserted into the base which protect the set from damage.

SDMO Generators (MTU) 715-3300 kVA

Ocktcom can supply new SDMO diesel generator sets with MTU engines from the SDMO Excel range of X715 – X3300 (715 to 3300kVA standby power).

Available as an open set, enclosed in a soundproof canopy enclosure or containerised. SDMO high cube containers come in two sizes 20ft and 40ft and are compliant with all relevant current standards and regulations.

All open sets are CE compliant and are ”complete with Telys II control panel, heater, battery chargr, 3 pole breaker, batteries, heat hand protection, water separator, fuel pre-filter, fuel coolant system, user manuals (“unless otherwise advised).

New Product Launch – Manual/Motorised Cable Reels

OCKTCOM can now supply Industrial Cable Reels with 24v or 110V Hydraulic pack to motorise the unit.

These come in single or double stackable reels, which can be fitted on a lorry bed if required. Each reel will hold up to 100m of 240mm single core cable with divider sets available to split either 2 x 50m or 4 x 25m.

Each cable drum comes complete with a lock and winding handle, with power packs available as an optional extra. Prices start from £900. Bespoke reels available on request.
